Walking into Brookshire, your guests are immediately greeted with The Foyer- a spacious location for your guests to mingle and enjoy before the ceremony and all through the night.
- Cocktail Hour: Cocktail Hour in The Foyer is one of our favorite ways to utilize the space. Our team sets up a portable bar, ensuring quick and efficient service for your guests. For summer weddings, bar service in The Foyer is a great way to keep guests comfortable in the air conditioning after an outside ceremony.
- Lounge Sets: Some other fun ways to make the most of this space include providing a lounge seating area for your guests! A lounge area right in front of the waterfall is a fantastic way to bring elevated style into your day and your guests’ experience. Couches or armchairs also provide more comfortable seating for elderly guests or family members.
- Photo Booth: Using The Foyer for your photo booth setup keeps guests entertained during Cocktail Hour and can help to decorate the The Foyer space.

The Veranda
The Veranda is our covered patio space, ideal for winter ceremonies or couples who prefer an indoor setting no matter the season.
- Cocktail Hour: This weatherproof space is a great alternative option for Cocktail Hour. A portable bar, cocktail tables, and lounge seating in front of the fireplace give this room an elevated feel. Cocktail Hour here is excellent for keeping The Foyer more open for other decor and activities.
- Wedding Ceremony: The cozy fireplace and natural lighting make The Veranda a picturesque indoor ceremony option. Enhance the space with floral arches or greenery framing the back wall. The Veranda is a wonderful spot for couples desiring an indoor ceremony that also feels set apart from the rest of their wedding areas.

The Ballroom
The Ballroom is our open and bright dining room and reception space complete with its own dance floor and built-in bar space.
- Dinner: Host your dinner and evening portion of your wedding in The Ballroom, customizing your floorplan and layout specific to how you want the event to flow. Other ways to personalize this space include mixing and matching your floral centerpieces or upgrading your linens for the head table or dessert tables!
- Dance Floor and Reception: The ballroom is ideal for hosting your vibrant dance floor while seamlessly accommodating other reception activities like speeches, late night bites, dessert bars, and other entertainment. Its spacious layout ensures guests enjoy dancing, mingling, and celebrating in one elegant, well-coordinated environment without ever having to leave the room once the party gets started!
- Indoor Ceremony: The Ballroom can also be transformed into a stunning and bright indoor ceremony space, with traditional seating or California-style seating—where your guests are already seated at their tables!

The Courtyard
The Courtyard is our shaded outdoor ceremony location, nestled just in front of our venue’s wooded area. This space is incredibly versatile, from ceremonies seating up to 250 guests to outdoor guest activities and endless photo opportunities.
- Outdoor Ceremony: With our turf grass lawn, green and vibrant in any season, and wooden arch ready for any floral designs- The Courtyard is built for the garden wedding of any couple’s dreams. Outdoor ceremonies also provide a seamless transition for photos to begin immediately while guests enter inside or to the back of The Courtyard for drinks and appetizers.
- Cocktail Hour: The shade of the trees makes The Courtyard a beautiful space for an alternative Cocktail Hour location for couples desiring to keep as much of their event outside as possible. Couples can either opt for having the portable bar set outside for Cocktail Hour or open the Ballroom doors next to the indoor bar to allow guests to flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the hour. Lawn games and an outdoor cigar bar near or next to one of the firepits also help to elevate your outdoor space and keep guests outside enjoying the gorgeous views.
- Photography: Lastly, The Courtyard has endless photo opportunities outside, from the ceremony space itself to the enchanting woods, garden area, micro vineyard, and fields that surround the space and Brookshire. The woods are especially popular spots for first looks and private couples’ photos. We also love seeing champagne or sparkler sendoffs under the bistro lights at night!

The Private Suites
Brookshire boasts two separate private suites in the front of the building.
- Getting Ready: While the Suites might only be used earlier in the day, there are still many different ways to be creative with this time and take full advantage of having private areas at your wedding venue. Make the most of this time with a Mimosa bar, beer, or seltzers for the wedding party. Or request Snack Platters through your Wedding Coordinator to be added to the suites as well! Also, if you plan to provide gifts on the wedding day to your wedding parties, the Private Suites are the perfect area to set them up and have them ready to be given out once your parties arrive at the venue.
- Pre-Ceremony Photos: Invite your photographer to utilize each suite’s bright lighting and neutral setting for candid getting-ready photos of your parties or a private moment between the couple reading vows or exchanging gifts.
